This ARP 207-4201 head stud kit is specifically designed for use with the 6-bolt 4G63 1G DSM and Galant VR4 models. Made from 8740 Chrome Moly, these studs have an impressive tensile strength of 200,000 psi. What sets them apart is their unique thread rolling process, done after heat-treating, which results in a 1000%  increase in fatigue strength compared to conventional industry practices of threading before heat-treating. While this method may be more expensive due to increased tooling costs, the superior durability and performance make it well worth the investment. This kit includes 10 studs, 10 washers, and 10 nuts with assembly lube, providing a complete replacement solution. The 6-bolt head studs are 12mm in size, ensuring a perfect fit for your engine.

The ARP L19 material, made with premium steel, is highly strong and reliable, perfect for short track and drag racing needs. It has a yield strength of 200,000 - 230,000 and a tensile strength of 260,000 psi. However, due to susceptibility to hydrogen embrittlement and stress corrosion, special care is needed during manufacturing. These L19 studs can be easily installed as a direct replacement for OEM head studs, without modifications needed for the cylinder head or block. Ideal for 4G63 blocks running at high pressure.

Note: Maintain the integrity and cleanliness of L19 studs by wearing gloves and avoiding direct skin contact. Regularly oil the studs to prevent contamination.

Heat-treated to 220,000 psi for ARP2000, with precision manufacturing and thread rolling for easier installation and increased fatigue strength. Optional L19 material offers 260,000 psi clamp load, while custom age 625+ studs have 270,000 psi tensile strength. Direct replacement for OEM head studs.
